NBA is a US based league for basketball at the highest level. It was founded in 1946 and currently consists of 30 teams, 29 in the United States and one in Canada. NBA is famously known for its competition amongst the team in it and is widely regarded as the greatest basketball show on the planet.

The NBA season typically runs from October to June and consists of an 82-game regular season followed by playoffs to determine the league champion. Teams in NBA are divided into two conference I.e. Eastern and the Western Conference respectively. Teams finishing in the top 8, gets a direct qualification to for the playoffs from both of the conferences.
